Reder Mae Davis, 86, of Los Angeles, and formerly of Magnolia, died June 23, 2008, in Los Angeles.

The daughter of Will and Allie McDaniel, she was born April 12, 1922, in Magnolia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five children; one sister; and one brother.

Survivors include her children, Eddie James Jones of Milwaukee, Earselene Lott of Little Rock, Velma Parker of Palmdale, Calif., Jerlene Webb and Margaret Gene of Flint, Mich., Donna Kay Rhine of Little Rock, Merilyn McFadden of Quartz Hill, Calif., Andrew McFadden Jr. of Cato, and Rena Briggs of Lancaster, Calif.; sisters, Esta Mae Childress of Mount Holly and Catherine Jones of Grand Rapids, Mich.; brothers, Melvin McDaniel of Mount Holly and Noah McDaniel of Little Rock; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church in Stephens with Elder Job Briggs officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Marks Funeral Home in Magnolia.
