Delorise O’Guinn, 55, of El Dorado, died Friday, June 27, 2008, at Life Touch Hospice.

She was born on Feb. 27, 1953, in El Dorado, the daughter of Moses L. Golden and Ella Mae Crew. She graduated from El Dorado High School and worked for Georgia-Pacific for seven years and El Dorado Paper Bag for 14 before her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, Arvin Nelson of El Dorado; sons Dennis C. O’Guinn and Kimeco D. O’Guinn, both of El Dorado; two brothers, Moses Golden Jr. of Brick, N.J., and Charles M. Golden of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five sisters, Bobbie J. Berry, Ella R. Irby, Earline Whitten, Ruby J. Hankins and Wendy Golden, all of Junction City, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday in Lott Burgy Cemetery with the Rev. Felton Burgie officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Sims Mortuary in El Dorado.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
