Esther Phillips Dunn, 84, of Camden, and formerly of El Dorado, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, at Ouachita Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born Aug. 29, 1924, in McLouth, Kan., she was the daughter of James Addison Bell and Lena (Fowler) Bell. She was a graduate of Henderson, a member of Phi Delta Kappa, the National Education Association, the Arkansas Education

Association, a school teacher for the Hampton and El Dorado School Districts and a member of College Avenue Church of Christ in El Dorado.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Phillips and his wife, Brenda, of Flint, Mich., and Billy Phillips and his wife, Frankie, of Ridge Top, Tenn.; a daughter, Wanda Stanfill and her husband, Ken, of East Camden; a sister, Helen Lohman of Tonganoxie, Kan.; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held July 26 in McLouth, Kan.
