Jerry Zane Pipes, 66, of Hermitage, died Monday, June 23, 2008, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home.

He was born June 30, 1941, in Bradley County, the son of James Willie Pipes and Lois Loree Dalton Pipes. He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Merilyn Kathleen Chandler Pipes; one son, Charles “Bubba” Curry of Banks; one brother, Winster Pipes of Monticello; and one grandchild.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Frazer’s Chapel in Warren. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
