Elgin Lee Golden, 75, of Hampton, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Valley Oaks Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Camden.

Survivors include sons Thomas Golden of Camden, Billy Golden of Wrightsville and W.C. Woods Jr. of Benton; daughters Sandra, Rosie and Marilyn Golden and Helen Belin, all of Hampton, Janice Ware of Locust Bayou and Sharon Parker of Camden; sisters Armelia Golden of Hampton and Erma Johnson of Camden; 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at First Baptist Church in Hampton with Bishop Daniels officiating.

Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Reddick Funeral Home in Camden.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
