Steven Joe McDaniel, 53, of El Dorado, died recently at his home.

He was born Aug. 24, 1954, in Phoenix, the son of Clyde Joe McDaniel and Willa Jane Cheers Earl.

Survivors include three aunts, Lynn D. Grant of El Dorado, Wanda Cheers of Norphlet and Bobbie Whitefield and her husband, B.R.; and seven cousins, Randell Grant and his wife, Tony, of Houston, Richard Riordan and his wife, Lana, of San Angelo, Texas, Peggy Land and Curtis of Fletcher, Okla., Susan Farrell and her husband, John, of Mesa, Mark and his wife, Lisa Whitefield, of Parkers Chapel, Michael Whitefield of Denver and David Whitefield of El Dorado; along with several second and third cousins.

There will be no services for Mr. McDaniel at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels of El Dorado.
