Elsie O. Coverson, 95, of El Dorado, and formerly of Tulsa, Okla., died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at her home.

The daughter of George Washington Parker and Ellen Nix Parker, she was born Aug. 7, 1912, in Russellville. She was a member of Christ Temple C.M.E. Church in Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam Coverson; and her siblings.

Funeral will at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Temple C.M.E. Church in Tulsa with the Rev. Stacy L. Cole officiating. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Garden in Tulsa under the direction of Jack’s Memorial Chapel in Tulsa. Local Arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home.
