Christopher Ryan Walker, 26, of Camden, died Sunday, June 15, 2008.

He was born on May 18, 1982, in El Dorado. He was employed by Russell Price Construction.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, C.L. Walker and Ernie Schanzlin.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly Riley and her husband Dennis of Camden; father, Tommy Walker and wife Peggy of Calion; sister, Tiffany Wedgewood and husband Matthew; niece, Ella of Rogers; brother, Blake Wilson of Camden; grandparents, Clyde and JoAnn Wilson of Camden, Dorothy Walker of Camden, Rachel Schanzlin of Camden; and many aunts and uncles and cousins.

Chris loved to do for others and he always wore a smile. The love of his life was his dog, Mac, and his K5 Chevrolet Blazer. Mac was like his son. He really enjoyed working in construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. He lived beside his Mamaw and Papaw for three years. They had a special relationship between them.

Pallbearers are Larry Ingels, Trent Parker, Nathan Daniels, Rocky Stewart, Wayne Mosley, Pete Holloway, and Brad Medlin. Honorary pallbearers are John Garcia, Mark Patterson, Mike Hooks, Kyle Russell, Charlie Elmore, Tommy Hughes, Sean Ingram, Keith Hooks, and Scott Whittington.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
