GLENN W. MORROWGlenn Weldon Morrow, 78, of Camden, died on Friday, June 13, 2008, at Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Little Rock, after fighting a lengthy battle with diabetes complications. Born on Oct. 1, 1929, in Nevada County, he was the son of Ernest and Jessie Morrow. He was active in the community, serving as a coach and umpire for baseball at the Boys Club, well known throughout South Arkansas and North Louisiana as a premier musician and was president of Ebenezer Cemetery Association for more than 20 years. He was retired from International Paper Co. Bag-Pak Division after 44 years of employment. Glenn is survived by his wife, Jean; a daughter, Glenda (and Mike Curtis); a son, Butch Morrow (and Debbie Tribble); three grandchildren, Jacob Glenn Morrow, Shawn Weldon Morrow and Beth Bailey; and three great-grandchildren, Dayton, Ethan and Evan Bailey. Special survivors are caretakers Geneva Armstrong, Beth Bailey and Alice Jones. Family visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. today at the home of Glenn and Jean (1073 Inca St., Camden). In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Ebenezer Cemetery Association, c/o Jerry McKelvy, 2680 Warren St., Camden, AR 71701, or the American Diabetes Association.
