Troy A. Armer 77, of El Dorado, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

He was born in El Dorado on Feb. 10, 1931, the son of H.E. and Mamie Armer. He was a member of First Assembly of God and along with his late wife owned and operated the Easy Wash Laundromat.

Survivors include two nieces, Linda Reed of Rison and Judy Coke of Norphlet; and a nephew, Gary Armer of Wright, along with several other nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his special friend, Anna Pearl Drummond.

Mr. Armer was preceded by his wife, Reba C. Armer; his parents Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Armer; a sister, Pauline Armer; and a brother, Johnny Armer.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in Arlington Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Etheridge officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
