Ollie V. Lambert, 85, of Stephens, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at her home.

Born on July 21, 1922, in Piney Grove, she was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, the Rev. Pete Lambert.

She was a cook at Head Start Schools.

Survivors include a son, Lee Butch Frierson of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Rosetta Marie Porter of Camden; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Stephens with the Rev. J. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterloo under the direction of Williams Funeral Home in Camden.

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
