Charles B. “Trophy” Waller, 53, of El Dorado, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born on April 18, 1955, in El Dorado, the son of Charlie B. Waller and Clemetine Turner Waller. A member of Zion Watch Missionary Baptist Church, he was a construction worker and served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, James Edward Waller.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Bluford Waller of El Dorado; two daughters, Tina Levingston and Valerie Reed, both of El Dorado; his mother, Clemetine Waller of El Dorado; three brothers, Greg Waller of El Dorado, Willie Lee Waller of Dallas, and Billy Ray Waller of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Patricia Ann Waller of El Dorado; and three grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, at First St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy C. Aaron Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Union Arc Cemetery in the Dodge City community under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

Public viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today and from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
