Betty Smith Braswell, 77, of Lynnville, Tenn., died Tuesday May 27, 2008, at Columbia Care and Rehabilitation in Columbia, Tenn.

The daughter of Willie Lee Smith and Elsie Laura Potts Smith, she was born Sept. 3, 1930, in Drew County. She was a homemaker and member of Lynnville Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest J. Braswell.

Survivors include two sons, Le Ron Braswell of Stephens and Gary Braswell of Columbia; two brothers, Billy Smith of Warren and Scotty Smith of Benton; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
