J.D. Robertson, 89, of Camden, died on Friday, May 9, 2008, at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden.

Mr. Robertson was born on Sept. 9, 1918, in Camden, the son of John David and Mary Bradshaw Robertson. He was a Methodist, a retired cattle farmer and construction company owner, and a member of the Mustin Lake Outing Association.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Bunn and Willis Robertson; and one sister, Margaret Bridges.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Fuller Robertson of Camden; two sons, Gary Robertson and wife, Mary Ann, and Jack Robertson and wife, Betty, all of Camden; and a daughter, Jan Tropf and husband, Ron, of Bryant; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden with the Rev. James Harris officiating.

Entombment will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
