DONALD G. ALEXANDER
Donald G. Alexander, 62, of Camden, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Hospice Homecare of Little Rock.
He was born Sept. 8, 1945, in Louann, and was the son of Bennie and Emma Lou Tate Alexander. He was a member of Faith Unlimited Outreach Ministries. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School in Camden and served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at General Motors in Flint, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sons, Mark Burks Alexander of Detroit, and Dontonio Marquies Alexander of Milwaukee; two daughters, Belinda Washington and Cassandra Alexander of Summerville, S.C.; one brother, James Alexander of Camden; four sisters, Patsy Burns of Louann, Hattie Scott of Camden and Gloria Woods and Helen Colen, both of Flint; and six grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Arkansas 376 South, Louann, with Elder James Alexander officiating. Burial will be in New Jerusalem Cemetery in Louann under the direction of Williams Funeral Home of Camden. Family hour will be held at 7 p.m. today at Faith Unlimited Outreach Ministries Church of God in Christ, 310 N. Adams Ave., Camden. The family will meet with friends after the service in the fellowship hall of Calvary Baptist Church.
