Hubert Stricklin, 79, of 470 Columbia Road 34, Magnolia, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Homer Memorial Hospital in Homer, La.

Born in Mount Holly, he was the son of Grady and Gertruce (Sanders) Stricklin.

He was a factory assemblyman, employed by Textron until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Radford and Annie Brown of Magnolia; and two brothers, Fred Stricklin of Magnolia and Lee Daniel Stricklin of Dallas, Texas.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Damascus Baptist Church in Village with the Rev. Lee Sanders officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Henderson’s Funeral Service in Magnolia.

Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
