Margaret Dees Rainey, 90, of Warren, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at her home.

She was born Nov. 21, 1917, in Bradley County, the daughter of Zack Dees and Esther Pearce Dees.

She was a retired employee of West Brothers department store, a housewife, homemaker, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buford Rainey Sr.; a grandchild; a brother, Milford Dees; and two sisters, Martha Marie Colvin and Christine Dees

Survivors include a son, Sonny Rainey of Johnsville; two daughters, Carol Hoelscher of Aberdeen, Md., and Carolyn Dickson, Minden, La.; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Frazer’s Chapel in Warren with the Revs. Wayman Mann and Randy Murphy officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Johnsville under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
