M. Lorene Faulkner, 81, of El Dorado, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Hudson Nursing Home following a long illness.

Born on May 11, 1926, in Parkers Chapel, she was the daughter of Henry M. and Fannie Webb Bridges. A homemaker, Lorene also worked at Southern Folder and Index, and later El Dorado Printing. Lorene also helped her sister at Top Hat Cleaners. She was a member of Marrable Hill Chapel. Lorene was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters and her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Faulkner of El Dorado; a son, Larry Faulkner of El Dorado; a daughter Kathy F. Clements of Frierson, La.; a sister, Connie Blough of El Dorado; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10 a.m., Tuesday in the chapel of Bailey Funeral Home with pastor Sam Shepperson officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
