Besides a day of fall feasting, followed by an afternoon of satiated numbness watching football, Thursday promotes a day of thanksgiving. That’s a good beginning to follow the mandate, “In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you,” First Thessalonians 5:18.
