The all-new edition of the 2009 Old Farmer’s Almanac hit store shelves on Sept. 9. One of the perks of this business is the occasional advance review copy of books and magazines or new music releases. Sometimes new spices and food items are delivered. All are sent in hopes that reporters and columnists will sample the products and inform readers of how good they are.
