Paul Choate, CIC, of CMI Insurance in El Dorado, was elected president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas at their 107th annual convention held June 26-28 in Hot Springs.

Choate, a Certified Insurance Counselor, has previously served on the IIAA executive committee, board of directors, and was chairman of the education committee.
