Each statewide election, the Family Council sends out letters to the candidates in each party with questions to answer showing how they stand on major issues. A good many do not complete the survey. I have the Arkansas Voters Guide for May 20, 2008. If my count is accurate, and I believe it is, there were 60 interviews sent out, of which 27 candidates did not complete the surveys. Of the 27 who did not respond, 26 were Democrats, one was a Republican.
