It has been amusing to read the letters to the editor from the surrogates of David Offutt trying to defend his biased political rhetoric. First, a letter published on June 18 questions Dr. Kenneth Williams’ credentials by stating, “I was surprised that a man who clamed to possess a Ph.D. (in what?) had so much trouble understanding what Mr. Offutt wrote.” Dr. Williams responded that he has a Ph.D. in both engineering and chemistry from University of Illinois which is one of the top rated universities in America.
