I have been following the school board’s discussion on school uniforms with great interest. I was raised in a time when there was no such thing; we just had to have clothes. I have seen the lawsuits across the nation that claim the uniforms are violations of the first and fourteenth amendments to the U. S. Constitution and I have to admit that in my opinion, they are a violation of free expression (first amendment).
