I am writing in response to the article concerning West Fraser sawmill in Huttig. As a very proud union member of Local 2346 U.B.C. and an employee at the West Fraser sawmill, I was astonished by the remarks and comments of Michael Smith and his misleading words aimed toward union workers at the sawmill.

Well, Mr. Smith, for your information, we are not “selfish” and the union at our plant has no plans for “forcing” the mill to close down.
