The picture in the Monday June 2nd New-Times showing the Rushing Oil Company Service Station and employees brought back a lot of memories. I’d like to share a little history about the company and also make this a tribute to my dad, Rodell Dumas.

The business was owned by H.C. “Clint” Rushing, Jr. Many called him “Doc” Rushing. His wife was Ruby Rushing and their daughter was Dixie Rushing.
