Some names transcend product brand identity

Back in the early 1980s was a copy machine called Xerox. You don’t hear of this name anymore. When I was a student at SAU-El Dorado now Southark, we had a Xerox machine in the administration building. The old Junior College building and still is. I was a student library assistant. One of my duties was to run office errands. Mrs. Carolyn Gunn was the Library Technician. She would say “Donald I want you to go Xerox some copies for me.” Mrs. Gunn taught me how to operate the Xerox machine. My main supervisor was the late Opal Pegues.
