The passing of Memorial Day marks the beginning of area children being involved in summer activities around El Dorado and Union County.

All-terrain vehicles – even though it’s illegal to drive them on roads – are the mode of transportation for many, even on busy streets and in populated residential neighborhoods.

Many children spend time at the Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado and make their way to fast food restaurants and convenience stores for noon meals and snacks. They’ll be trying to cross North West Avenue at Fifth Street.
