I read in amusement the letter in Wednesday’s paper from the city of Norphlet. The letter reminded the citizens to keep their yards cleaned and drained of water. What a laugh!

There is a hole of water that has been caused by a fire hydrant (which no longer works and the city can’t figure out how to fix it) for the last two years in front of my dad’s house. What about the city of Norphlet cleaning up their own mess? The water needs to be drained, but more importantly, the fire hydrant needs to be fixed or replaced.
