Victory Center: The Republican Party of Arkansas opened its El Dorado office Tuesday at 201 E. Main St. As part of the opening, state Rep. Matthew Shepherd, R-El Dorado, who also serves as speaker of the House, gave a speech to those assembled about campaigning for their local Republican representatives. He also commended those assembled who are running for public office on the bravery it takes for them to try.
