Lonnell Cunningham was born Feb. 17, 1956 to Thill Cunningham and Odie Bell Cunningham in El Dorado. He was the younger of twin boys.

He was an employee of the City of Tyler, Texas and later El Dorado Water Utilities.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie Dell and son, Scouter Cunningham; brothers, Willis and Otis Cunningham; sisters, Betty R. Ellis, Ada Lee Ellis and Quella Finley and granddaughter, Anna Dale Smith.

Survivors are a son, Eric Lonnell Cunningham of Little Rock; daughter, Anguenetta James of El Dorado; brothers, Isaiah Burns of Smackover, the Rev. Robert Cunningham of El Dorado, Donnell Cunningham of El Dorado, Roy Cunningham of Little Rock, Ricky Richmond Texarkana; sisters, Lula Peoples of Sacramento, California; Marilyn Wade of El Dorado, Christine Chalk of Big Faudy, Texas, Lovetta McFadden of Little Rock, Angela Hawking of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

Public visitation will be Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 from noon until 5 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 at Christ Missionary Baptist Church.
