Samuel Lynn “Pup” Raynes, 60, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born March 8, 1958, to Shelby and Mildred Cameron Raynes in El Dorado, AR.
He was a member of Marrable Hill Chapel and worked as a plumber and city inspector for the City of El Dorado. He was an avid hunter and dedicated member of Hollow Beech Hunting Club, Inc. for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Jane Hall Raynes; children, Samuel Lee “Squirt” Raynes (Belinda, his “Baby Girl”), Jamie Goodwin, Julie Goodwin Lee, his “Princess” (Aaron), Jesse Livingston (Megan), Summer Gorman (Brett) all of El Dorado, Anglley Colvin Hansen (Josh), Alicia Colvin Richards (Drew) both of Fayetteville, AR; grandchildren, Julia, Jayden, Karlee, Jase, Cheyanne, Shylah, Aidan “Hotrod”; a multitude of people he calls his youngins, Ross, James, Harry, Kevin, Alex, Randy, Kelly, Katelyn, Kaliegh and Kyleigh, mother, Mildred Cameron Raynes; brother, Shelby Terrell Raynes (Betty); sisters, Geraldine Williams, Shelley Lamb; his Homie, Roger Selman (Charlie, Wife #2); uncle, Junior Cameron (Amy); many nieces, nephews and children that are called his babies; Ronda Hall his Angel; and Avery Hall his Super Hero.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Young’s Chapel with Shelby T. Raynes officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Kirby Craig, Bruce Patterson, Steve “Fat Boy” Defee, Allen Morgan, Seth Vinson, and Perry Lamb.

The family will gather on Saturday October 20, and Sunday, October 21, at the home of Shelley Lamb, 709 Lawton Lane.
