Thomas Franklin Black, 90, of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at Timberlane Health and Rehab.
Born Aug. 16, 1928 in the Sandyland Community near Smackover, he was the son of Thomas Carr and Ruby Mae Shaw Black. Mr. Black had been a longtime barber at Esquire Barber Shop until 2012. He served in the United States National Guard for over 12 years and was an avid Razorback fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Joanne Duncan Black.
Survivors include his nephews, Crawford Knight (Shirley) of El Dorado, and Thomas F. Knight (Rosalie) of Little Rock.
Cremation was entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
