Larry E. Hancock, age 71, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at his residence. His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Walker Cemetery.
Larry E. Hancock was born Feb. 3, 1947 in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Bob Hancock and the late Joyce Beadles Haynes. On Aug. 14, 1964 he married Martha Veazey Hancock and she survives in Paris, Tennessee. He is also survived by two daughters: Cary (Wayne) Moore of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Rachel (Joshua Smith) Hancock of Fayetteville; two sons: Michael (Lisa) Hancock of Conway, Mississippi and Reece (Danielle) Hancock of Maumelle; two brothers: Charles (Shelia) Hancock of Paris, Tennessee and Norman Hancock of Puryear, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Madelyn Moore, Jackson Hancock, Kate Hancock, Owen Hancock, Branson (Olivia) Shaffer, and Alexandra Shaffer; one great grandchild, Carson Shaffer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mr. Hancock was also preceded in death by his step-father, Delbert Haynes.
Larry Hancock was owner of Hancock’s Window & Glass in El Dorado for 33 years before retiring and moving to Tennessee. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
