“The tree colors,” said Anabelle Dewey. She said she was going to dress as Michael Jackson for Halloween.Halloween is Evan Dewey’s favorite part of fall. “Last year, I was a washing machine, and this year I’m going to be a cereal box.”

Chris Simmons said cooler temperatures. He didn’t have a particular costume in mind for Halloween, saying he doesn’t really celebrate. “I’ll take my daughter trick-or-treating,” he said.

Kip Palmer said, “My birthday was last month … and my brother’s birthday was two days ago.” He said he doesn’t know if he’ll do anything for Halloween since he doesn’t have anything to do for kids.

Kywanne Plummer (left) said her favorite part of fall is Halloween. “We get to go trick-or-treating!” she said. She hasn’t decided on a costume for this year yet. Afriyie Hill (right) said she will be a ladybug for Halloween this year. “I wanted to be a bumblebee, but they didn’t have it,” she said.
