S.I.G.H.T. to meet Sunday
S.I.G.H.T. (Sight Impaired Group Help Team) will meet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Dumas Memorial Methodist Church, 132 S. Wyatt Drive.
Entertainment will be presented by vocalist Teresa Cox accompanied by Gina Williams (piano) and J.D. Williams (guitar).
The public is invited.
Avery Piano Recital to be held Saturday
The piano students of Marilyn Avery will present three recitals Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1942 N. Wyatt Drive.
Students will perform solos and duets from all eras of music. Awards will be presented following each program.
Students performing at 1 p.m. are Anderson Colley, Victoria Colley, Ainsley Colvin, Connor Cranford, Tiffanie Duke, Claire Evans, Jake Evans, Rachel Harbour, Delaney Mason, Landon Moore, Henlea Stevens and Xin Yuan Weng.
The 2:30 p.m. program includes Anabelle Brown, Charlie Day, Karis Flurry, Audrey Hendrson, Emily Henderson, Clayton Rogers, Leighton Smith, Olivia Smith, Trinity Thomas, Abbey Williams, Emily Williams and Nolan Williams.
Playing at 4 p.m. are Mary Bone, Lexi Bronson, Lucas Burns, Patricia Burris, Clark Cupp, Kailey Gardner, Landon Langston, Spencer Langston, Isaac Stell, Addy Taylor and Hope Webb.
