Lady Wildcats explode for 16-1 victory over Hampton

El Dorado banged out 15 hits Tuesday in a 16-1 four-innings win over Hampton at the Union County Recreation Complex. The Lady Wildcats improved to 3-1 on the season.

Allyson Silmon led El Dorado's hit parade, going 3-for-3 with a walk and three RBI. Lea Jones was 2-for-2 with two walks and three RBI. Grace Hargett was 2-for-2 with two RBI. Taylor Mayo had two hits and three RBI. Payton Scarlett was 2-for-4.

Grace Murry was 1-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored. Jae Peterson and Julianne Spencer each had a hit and drove in a run.

Hargett was the winning pitcher, striking out eight in three innings. Scarlett sat the side down in order in the fourth.

The Lady Wildcats travel to Monticello today at 4:30 p.m.

Parkers Chapel JV 3

SMACKOVER - Smackover knocked off the Lady Trojans in a junior varsity game on Tuesday.

The Lady Bucks had three home runs in the game.

Abbi Crawford hit a three-run homer in the sixth. Two batters later, Lydia Pullin stroked a two-run home run. Reagan Richardson hit a two-run homer in the third. Lexi Gilbert had a RBI double in the first. Brooklyn Dees doubled and scored.

Crawford all three runs on five hits with five strikeouts and one walk.

Savannah Slaughter had a two-run homer for Parkers Chapel in the first.

Slaughter, Drue Thomas, Taylor Fortune, Kamryn Cross and Kylie Jones all had hits for the Lady Trojans.
