City Arrests

• Tammy R. Wolfe, 32, of Greenbrier, was arrested June 21 by the Union County Sheriff’s Office for fraudulent use of a credit card. Deputies said the woman had in her possession several credit cards that belonged to residents who live in the 100 block of Chula Vista and notified El Dorado police. A woman there told police that Wolfe is a relative, and the cards had been stolen from the woman’s purse. Another relative who lives across the street said Wolfe had stolen four credit cards from his wallet, according to a police report.

• Jermaine O. McDonald, 30, 904 Wilson, was arrested June 19 for second-degree battery, aggravated assault and first-degree terroristic threatening. Police were called to the Wilson Street residence in reference to a disturbance, and upon arrival, a man told officers that McDonald threatened him with a knife during an argument. The man said he turned to leave, and McDonald struck him in the back of the head with what is believed to have been a baseball bat.

• Kimberly J. Ferrington, 49, no address available, was arrested June 19 for commercial burglary and a warrant for enforcement of fines. Ferrington is accused of breaking into the cafeteria of Barton Junior High School cafeteria on June 18 and 19. On June 19, employees told police Ferrington left the area walking north, noting that screen had been ripped in the rear door of the cafeteria and boxes stacked outside. Police said they found Ferrington hiding in some bushes nearby, and she admitted entering the school in search of food.

• Theodis G. Hildebrand, 54, of 1135 N. Highland Ave., was arrested June 21 for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of governmental operations and refusal to submit to arrest.

City Reports

• A man reported June 22 the theft of a fuel can from his boat at his residence in the 1200 block of Harold Ellen Drive.

• A woman told police June 21 that someone broke into her car at her residence in the 600 block of West Wesson and stole a battery charger. Police said there were no signs of forced entry, and the woman said she may have forgotten to lock the doors.

• On June 21, police responded to a report of breaking or entering at a residence in the 1000 block of Lincoln. Two batteries and a gasoline tank were reported stolen.

• A man reported June 21 the theft of several items from and damage to a rent house he owns in the 3000 block of East Main. Reported stolen were two hand sanders, a shop vacuum, sheet of tin, dolly, a central unit air conditioner and a fence. The complainant also said wiring had been ripped from the walls, the natural gas supply line cut, the doors broken, holes punched into the walls and the windows broken. The man said a suspect had been identified, and he confronted the suspect, who admitted selling the tools at a local pawn shop. The suspect would not answer questions about the air conditioner, the man told officers.

• A woman told police June 21 that someone broke into her residence in the 700 block of North Parkway and stole a TV and video game system.

• On June 21, police responded to a report of a vehicle break-in at a residence in the 300 block of North Yocum. Reported stolen were two cordless drills and several hand tools from the trunk of the vehicle.

• A man told police June 20 that someone entered his garage in the 1600 block of West Cedar and stole two leaf blowers and a weedeater.

• A woman told police June 20 that someone entered her vehicle at her residence in the 400 block of Thompson and stole a buck knife, a pair of headphones and sunglasses. The woman said the doors were unlocked.
