CAROLYN D. HIGGINS
Carolyn Denise “Carol” Higgins, age 58, of Monticello passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her home. She was born July 2, 1959 in St. Joseph, Louisiana to the late Woodrow Cardin and Thelma Ashley Cardin.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Survivors include her husband, George Higgins of Monticello; four sons, Gerald Wayne Cardin and James Guree both of Crawley, Louisiana, Leonard Guree and Jimmy Guree both of Alabama; one daughter, Brandy Guree of Monroe, Louisiana; four brothers, Buddy Cardin and wife Janet of Vidalia, Louisiana, Ted Cardin and wife Phyllis of Tallulah, Louisiana, Johnny Cardin and Wayne Cardin both of Newellton, Louisiana; two sisters, Ann Appel of Newellton, Louisiana and Rosie Wilson of Ferry, Louisiana; and several grandchildren.
