BILLY J. WILLIAMS

Billy J. Williams, 85, of Smackover, passed away Tues-day, Jan. 30, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Williams was born July 12, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Iva Leo Williams and Lucille Eskew Williams Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bobby Williams, a son, Gerald Wayne Nolan and a daughter, Cheri Massey.

Mr. Williams was a retired oil field worker and attended the Bible Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Williams of Smackover, three sons, Billy Gene Nolan and wife Kitty of Smackover, David Nolan and wife Patti of Oak Grove, Louisiana, and Kenneth Williams of Houston, Texas, one daughter, Debbie Clifton and husband Joseph of Springfield, Louisiana, five sisters, Betty Scott of Smackover, Virginia Henderson of Gilmer, Texas, Nancy Robinson of Smackover, Grace Mason of Longview, Texas, and Gladys Herrberger of White Oak, Texas, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at the Bible Baptist Church.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at the Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. J.D. Weido and the Rev. Bob Weido officiating. Interment will be in the Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Bible Baptist Church, 2103 Smackover Hwy, El Dorado.
