RANDALL WOMACK

Howard Randall Womack, 56, of Huttig, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018.

Randall was born on Feb. 25, 1962, to O.D. and Ruth Womack, in Huttig. He graduated Huttig High in 1982 and remained a lifelong resident there. Randall was employed at the saw mill for 35 years and served his community as a former Fire Chief and ambulance driver for the Huttig Volunteer Fire Department. Randall was also an active member of First Baptist Church of Huttig and member of the Winn Flat Creek Hunting Club, Louisiana.

Randall loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mud-riding with his family and friends. Passing down his love of fishing, along with deer and geese hunting to his son, and grandson seemed to give him the most pleasure in life. Randall adored and doted on his grandson, matching him step for step every chance possible.

Randall is survived by his cherished wife and life companion of 38 years Beverly, mother Ruth (Felton) Clarke, son Chad (Elizabeth), grandson Zachary, brother Jamie, K9 companion Ruby Jewel, along with a host of beloved in laws, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Randall was proceeded in death by his father, O.D. Womack, and half-sister Donna Womack Garrett.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 from 5 until 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Huttig, 302 4th Street. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2 p.m., also at FBC with burial following immediately after at Harper Springs Cemetery under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
