Derrick City Sam's sets next campout date
The Derrick City Sam's set next campout is set for March 12-16 at Shady Pines in Texarkana during its monthly meeting and a celebration of the chapter’s 35th anniversary.
Virginia Mulligan was the main speaker at the celebration, with Vona Smith also speaking. Guests included Bill and Dee Nery; JD and Lawrence Henley; and John and Bonnie Warwick, as well as honorary members JR and Louise Todd; Tommy and Diane Ferrell; and David and Barbara Hogg. The group reviewed old scrapbooks and photos, with a meal catered by Abe’s Old Feed House.
Local Zeta Phi Beta members invited to ‘Coming Home to Zeta’
The Alpha Alpha Pi Zeta chapter will host a “Coming Home to Zeta” reclamation program at 6:30 p.m. March 12 in the Simmons First Bank Community Room. All inactive/un-financial members are encouraged to attend. Guests are asked to dress casual. Light refreshments will be served.
