SHIRLEY A. NELSON
Shirley A. Nelson was born January 20, 1950, to Walter Parnell Harris and Thelma V. Davis Harris. She passed on February 20, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Phil and Emma Harris (Paternal). John and Mattie Davis (Maternal)., two sisters Arterine Sherman and Emma Malone, Two brothers Houston Johnson and Charles Harris, 3 nephews; Clay Daugherty, Christopher Malone and Shannon Morris, 1 great nephew; Devon Harris, and 2 great nieces La’Cole Harris and La’Ivyonia Townsend.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Vincent (Louisa) Nelson, Stephanie Nelson, Teresa (Bobby) Hambright, Natasha Childs (Alvin), and Rodderick (Edna) Davis; one brother, Jerry (Loretta) Cowser; three sisters, Billie Malone, Mary Springer and Sheila (Roland) Waller; 16 Grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Public visitation Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with the family hour from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Services at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Kingdom Hall, 1335 Strong Hwy. Interment in El Bethel Cemetery in Three Creeks under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
