First Baptist Church - Huttig: Celebrating pastor and wife 28th anniversary at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 204 12th St. Special guests will be the Rev. Curtis Tatum and Snow Hill Baptist Church of Smackover. The public is invited to attend and help celebrate.

Beulah Grove Missionary Baptist Church: Will have their annual choir day at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 3090 Parnell Road, El Dorado. Special guests will be the Rev. Wiley George and Sweet Home Baptist Church family. Everyone is invited to attend and help celebrate their choir day cause.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church: Will be hosting “A Colorama” at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1018 E. Wilson St., El Dorado. Everyone is invited to attend and worship.

New Bethel Baptist Church: The El Dorado Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) will meet at 11 a.m. today at the church, 800 S. Smith in El Dorado where the Rev. Bobby Patterson is pastor. There will be a short business session and rehearsal.

Christ Missionary Baptist Church: Black History Program will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 1628 E. Cook St. Theme is “What to do to make dreams come true.” Fellowship dinner after the service. The public is invited to attend.

Freewill Baptist Church: Pastor McGhee 32nd Pastor Anniversary to be held at 2:30 p.m. March 11 at the church, 1320 E. Faulkner, El Dorado. Associate Ministers are Rodriquez Candley and Kenneth Rozier. Guests will be Pastor Anthony Traylor and New Eastside Baptist Church. Lunch will be served.

Jerusalem Quinn Baptist Church: Men and Women Day to be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 643 Quinn Road, with the Rev. Corey Wade, pastor. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Doyle McGhee and congregation of Willow Grove Baptist Church of Calion.

Church of Love: Daughters of Destiny’s Annual Celebration will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. March 10, at the church, 803 E. Main, El Dorado. The theme is “Walking In Victory: Fullfilling God’s Purpose For My Life.” This event is free, but call to confirm number of registrants. Donations are always accepted. The speaker is Diane Williams from Macedonia Church in Camden. Vendors will also be available. Springhill Baptist Church: 153rd Church Anniversary to be held at 2:30 p.m. March 18 at the church with the Rev. Kenneth Harris, pastor. Speaker will be the Rev. David Campbell, Jr., pastor, and New Second Baptist of Bastrop, Louisiana. Everyone is invited to attend.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church: Lent; Preparing for Easter Retreat Day to be held on March 10. Agenda is at 8:30 a.m. there will be coffee and spudnuts. Cloister in Parish Hall. At 9 a.m. will be morning prayer and program. At noon will be lunch in Parish Hall. This will be led by the Rev. Michael Millard, SSC. Fr. Michael will be available for confession, spiritual guidance, or both after lunch.
