Beatrice Moore, 81, of Junction City died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 at MCSA. She was born on June 10, 1936 in the Upland Community. She was the daughter of Clarence Rodgers and Minnie Dangerfield Rodgers. She was a graduate of Rosenwald High School in Junction City. She was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in the Upland Community. She recently retired as a housekeeper with Oak Ridge Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul D. Moore; grandson, Phillip Jerriel Moore.
Survivors are; four sons, Victor Moore and Eric Moore of El Dorado, Ronald Moore of Junction City and Herbert Moore of Tucson, Arizona; one brother, Jerry Brown of El Centro, California; ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at New Mt. Union Baptist Church in Junction City with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mark Cemetery in the Upland Community under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. Public viewing will be from 2 until 5 p.m. on Friday and from 8 until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Andrews.
