RSVP Dance set for Friday

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program will host a dance featuring White Mustang from 7 until 10 p.m. Friday at Champagnolle Landing Senior Center, 910 E. 4th St., El Dorado. Admission is $6 per person. Smoking and alcohol is prohibited.

Dagnabit and the Doggones to make first appearance at Club 10

Dagnabit and the Doggones will be making their very first appearance at American Legion Club 10 on Friday.

Recently moving from Kansas to Arkansas, they have started to make a name for themselves in and around the Hot Springs area. Music starts at 8 p.m. Everyone 21 and over is welcome.

College counselors, FAFSA assistance available at meeting Monday

The El Dorado High School Guidance Office is hosting a senior parent informational meeting from 3–6:30 p.m. Monday in the EHS Commons.

College admissions counselors will be available to answers questions about admissions, and scholarship opportunities from 3-5:30 p.m., as well as FAFSA assistance from SouthArk financial aid director Veronda Tatum.

At 5:30 p.m., the parent meeting will include presentations from the following guest speakers: ADHE outreach coordinator Lisa Smith, Union County Community Foundation representative Elise Drake, El Dorado Promise director Sylvia Thompson, El Dorado and the senior class sponsors.

All seniors and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend, juniors and their parents are also invited. For more information, contact the guidance office at 870-864-5113.
