MAD announces lineup for month’s Thursday Night Live performances

The Murphy Arts District announced its lineup for February’s free Thursday Night Live performances in the Griffin Restaurant.

The performances, which stretch across several genres, will feature:

• Rodney Block on Thursday - The Dumas, Arkansas, native has been thriving in the regional music scene for seven years and has shared the stage with Earth, Wind and Fire; Sugar Ray; Chrissette Michelle; and Eric Benet. In 2014, Block’s band was honored with the Aurora Award and Telly Award for its concert feature on AETN.

• Smithfield on Feb. 15 - Founded in Texas, Smithfield secured opening gigs for established artists including Eric Paslay, Scotty McCreery, Jana Kramer, Dustin Lynch and Brothers OsBorne after only one year in Nashville. With vocalists Trey and Jennifer, Smithfield has become known for its memorable music and stunning harmonies.

• Dazz & Brie on Feb. 22 - A rock ‘n’ soul duo and band, this group combines heavy rock instrumentation with soulful harmonies and has been named the Arkansas Times’ 2017 Musicians Showcase winners, the 2018 Kit-Kat Jingle winners and ML Magazine’s Uprising Ido.
