RISON - Dynasty Davis scored 25 points, as Strong continued its surge with a 51-40 win over Rison on Monday in Class 1A-2A District 16 play.
In the nightcap, Strong completed a sweep of Rison with a 71-66 victory.
Amaya Smith had 15 points and Kiki Shelton finished with seven points for the Lady Bulldogs (17-5, 9-2), who have won 13 of their last 14 games.
Strong led 24-21 at intermission before pulling away in the second half.
In the junior girls game, Strong knocked off Rison 30-23.
Holly Baker and Chrishunda Williams each had 14 points in the win.
In the boys game, Derrion Davis scored 25 points to lead the Bulldogs (10-13, 5-6).
Jadarrius Dixon added 18 points.
Trey Smith finished with 15 points in the win for Strong, who trailed 13-10 after the opening period before rallying to take a 31-30 edge at intermission.
The game was tied at 47-all after three quarters.
Strong’s varsity squads will finish the regular season on Thursday when they complete their set with Rison.
