FRANK VINES
Frank “Junior” Vines, 77, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born April 4, 1941, to Frank Jackson Vines, Sr. and Myrtis Ivy Gardner Vines in Hope.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a member Harmony Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and two brothers, David Vines and Gurvis Vines.
Survivors include his son, Dennis Gene Vines (Carla) of Junction City; two grandchildren, Logan Vines, Kayla Vines, one brother, Terry Vines of Fort Smith; and five sisters, Murtie Watkins of Waldo, Maifred Donahue (Bill), Glenda Jerry (Randy), Robin Farley, Brenda Wilson (Joe) all of El Dorado.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, in Young’s Chapel with Bro. Conner Garlington and Bro. Ricky Donahue officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Craig Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
