MAD prep: Workers are putting the finishing touches on the Murphy Arts District, a state-of-the-art music, entertainment and restaurant complex, in preparation for the grand opening Thursday through Sunday. The four-day event will feature ZZ Top, Robert Randolph, Train, Brad Paisley, Ludacris, Smokey Robinson, the South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and many others, in the areas of Cedar, Jefferson, Locust and Hill streets near downtown El Dorado.
